Run with Lithuanians around the globe in 2024 to promote unity and celebrate our heritage through the “5 for Lithuania” event.
Join us for the 9th annual “5 for Lithuania” run, an event that has brought together Lithuanians worldwide since 2013. Organized by the World Lithuanian Youth Union (PLJS), this run encourages participants to stay active while shedding light on matters important to Lithuanians worldwide.

This year’s run is significant as we focus on building stronger connections among Lithuanians worldwide. The event promotes physical well-being and underscores our shared heritage and commitment to fostering a global Lithuanian community. Participating in the run demonstrates the unity, determination, and spirit that define Lithuanians everywhere.

Individual runners and coordinators organizing group runs in their local areas are encouraged to register for the event.

Run Details
Participants will run a symbolic 5 km on a route of their choice, individually or with a group. After completing the run, participants are encouraged to share their experiences on social media. You can submit your results through the official website and receive certificates, souvenirs, and prizes as a token of participation. Submit your details on 5uzlietuva.com website.
Awards
Once the run is complete, winners will be announced. All participants will receive exclusive “5 for Lithuania” souvenirs, and the top performers on the global leaderboard will be rewarded with special prizes.
