Campers Learn Water Filtration and Military Life at Švyturys Camp 2024
Today marks the 4th day of Švyturys Camp 2024, a unique summer camp organized by the Lithuanian National Guard for youth of Lithuanian descent in America. This camp aims to instill a sense of heritage, discipline, and practical skills among its participants. Wednesday, August 6, was a day dedicated to water skills and military education, providing campers with invaluable experiences and knowledge.
Water Filtration Training
The morning session began with an essential survival skill: water filtration. Clean drinking water is vital for survival in the wilderness and during emergencies. Without proper filtration, water can carry harmful bacteria, viruses, and chemicals, leading to severe health issues.
